Jake is counting the days to his birthday, planning down to the finest detail, and the great day is only two week away - but before it comes his brother's. We follow Jake as he tries to cope with Henry's own special day. Rob Lewis' deliberate low key text and illustrations in no way diminish the strength of the feelings but allow us to be knowing and sympathetic observers of Jake's struggles to be nice so he doesn't spoil things for Henry. With Rob Lewis there is always a twist in the tail and the chorus of 'Oh Jake!' that greeted the end of the book would surely amuse him.
