Dear Bear

Any adult with a child who has a fear of creatures in the dark would get inspiration for dealing with it from this delightful picture book. Katie is convinced there's a ferocious, bear under the stairs and is in danger of becoming obsessed by her fear. She writes a letter to him and this begins an entertaining correspondence which has a happy and clever ending. Lively, colourful pictures and well-told story complement each other beautifully.
