Wyvern Summer
An exciting fantasy which starts slowly in the 'real' world but really takes wing when Franny discovers the past and another world where the Wyverns must be made to fly again. Toby Forward has the subtlety to combine humour and humanity with the serious creation of outlandish fantasy and he enjoys playing with the reader's expectations. New to me, but the third in a trilogy which, once started, ought to have lots of fans.
