One in an excellent series of books. This is packed with stories and extracts all having the quality of tried and tested favourites. At this price, it's quite irresistible. Diana Wynne Jones' choices are superb, wide-ranging, and often surprising. Most are not recent, but this is a classic collection where each story and each extract has the mark of being singled out by an experienced reader aware of what works when read aloud.
