Richard Hill

Profile

Richard Hill has spent all his working life in publishing. After a degree in History at LSE, a PGSE at Avery Hill and a year of teaching in primary schools in south east London, Richard joined Penguin Books in 1969. Later he became head of the Children’s Marketing Department where, with colleagues, he became heavily involved in the school bookshop movement. Richard joined the School Bookshop Association in 1979 as managing director and was the co-founder of Books for Keeps with Pat Triggs.
