Stories for Special Teenagers	BfK No. 40 (September 1986)	Thelma Davey is the teacher librarian in a special school. Recently she conducted a survey of staff and pupils about the kind of books they believed were important to them and needed in the school library. Her teacher colleagues voted for more non-fiction; the children wanted more fiction. Here she assesses the value of fiction for her class of young people with special educational needs.
