I Love You, Too!

Author: Michael Foreman

In this simple bedtime book from consummate illustrator Michael Foreman, Dad has finished the bedtime story and it’s time for Little Bear to go to sleep. ‘I love you, too’ he says, but Little Bear has a clever answer… ‘I love you three’. Determined to show he loves more, Little Bear describes all the things that aren’t as much as his love for his Dad, including all the stars in the sky and all the colours of the rainbow. Dad always answers ‘I love you more’ and tries to get Little Bear to go to sleep. Is Little Bear just trying to keep his Dad upstairs? In the end he gets his wish: a sleepy Dad curls up for a sleep instead and Little Bear reads his book again.

Perfect for tiny-tots this short story is a series of pretty pictures featuring Little Bear and his Dad in all kinds of wonderful scenes. A great gift for Father’s Day and could inspire some new bedtime rituals at home. A sweet and sentimental picture book that doting Dads will love to read aloud.
