Author: Philip ArdaghIllustrator: Mike Gordon

Creepy Crawlies, 978-1407107189

Dinosaurs, 978-1407107196

Egyptians, 978-1407107202

Step inside Henry’s House (‘wipe your feet first’) to find out about all sorts of things from insects and spiders to ancient Egyptians, dinosaurs and the body. Four jolly titles romp through the topics with a mixture of strip cartoon and graphic artwork and a liberal helping of creaky jokes. Philip Ardagh has a light touch and keeps the pace lively, while Mike Gordon’s expressive line work matches the humour. Henry acts as the guinea pig in each title, asking questions at appropriate points with a running commentary supplied by Mothball the dog. It works! Good fun, good value and full of information.

Look out for additional titles on Knights and Castles and Space. There is also a ‘Henry’s House’ website: www.headforhenryshouse.co.uk
