Dino-Dinners

Authors: Mick Manning, Brita Granström

A lively and colourful guide to dinosaurs and what or who they eat. Written in verse (well, nearly), there is just the right amount of gore, poo and rude bits to keep a young audience happy. Watercolour washes and fluid line are used to paint portraits of ten different dinosaurs, ranging from the egg-cracking Oviraptor to the giant treetop-salad-eating Brachiosaurus. Additional information is included in the side columns, together with line drawings, but the level is always spot on for the age group, as one has come to expect from this talented author-illustrator team. Endorsed by the staff of London’s Natural History Museum, it would be a valuable accompaniment or souvenir of a visit to the new Dino Jaws exhibition www.nhm.ac.uk/dino-jaws.
