Doug, the Bug that went Boing!

Author: Sue Hendra

With an eye-catching cover, lettering and images in zinging, glittery reds and purples, this book adds to a lively series. Here, the chief character, Doug the Bug, is playing berry ball happily with his best friend Trevor when an argument erupts, disaster following. Separated, the two bugs just want to get back together to say sorry for their argument. Doug’s adventures are clearly  illustrated, and will amuse young readers, anticipating possible incidents. When Doug lands splat in someone’s breakfast, and pepper is sprinkled on his nose…. he begins a hazardous ‘boing, boing, super boing’ journey. But,  eventually the two bugs are reunited, apologies exchanged and berry ball game continues happily.
