Prince Florian, formerly known as Prince Pom Pom, is in trouble again; his father is losing his hair, which means he can no longer be king. So Prince Florian must perform four tasks to show he is fit to take over as ruler. Can he do these tasks? Does he believe in himself? No, but enter a deus ex machina in the form of Laura Jones, his best friend. It is really her wits, intelligence and courage that help save the day and also provide Florian with the chance to redeem himself. A happy ending to the story then occurs, but not without an amusing twist that will have newly confident readers delighted. This book is a welcome addition to classroom libraries.
