The Children’s Poetry Bookshelf, offering children’s poetry written for 7-11 year olds, has just been relaunched with a lively new website providing fun pages for children, with poetry quizzes and puzzles, and space for their own poems and reviews. The books are chosen by distinguished selectors: Mandy Coe, Wes Magee and Fiona Waters.

New membership schemes have been set up enabling parents and grandparents to send two or three books three times a year to the child of their choice. There’s also a new library scheme which delivers a selection of eight books three times a year. Activity sheets produced for teachers are available to all members, who also have access to the members-only site, where they can buy all the children’s poetry titles in print in the UK at a 25% discount.
