This whole book is really a game of observation and entertainment as the young reader follows Mimi the mouse from morning to night. It also includes a game of Snakes and Ladders at the back. Mimi is tiny as are the other mice active across the pages. It’s fun to look for Mimi and takes intricate searching but it is less tricky and sophisticated than looking for that other lover of crowds, Wally. This book is aimed at a younger readership. The cheerful, childlike illustrations are pleasing with all the wonder of small things that children love because it makes them feel bigger.
Let’s Find Mimi: On Holiday is also available in what is becoming a successful series.
