My First Day at Nursery

This is a delightful book, full of comfort about that first day at nursery. This little girl is nervous, and she wants her mother. She tells the story herself, and the very gentle illustrations show just how she feels. As the friendly lady takes her hand and leads her away from mum, she cries out, ‘I want my mum.’ As she is drawn into successive activities, she cries out, ‘I want my…’, ‘I want…’, ‘I’, until she is completely absorbed, sharing all the new experiences at nursery.
