Ouch!

Author: Steve Cole

Fido and Smithy are totally involved in taping mishaps to send to a reality TV show offering money for funny video clips. But when they bring the camcorder in to school for weedy Mr Steen to use, it seems that everybody, suddenly, is after it. Mr Biggins the caretaker wants it to delete some incriminating evidence from their tape, as does supply teacher Mrs Janus and her brother PE teacher Mr Bruce. And that’s just the start. Soon pupils, bully boy Connor Flint and Cassie Shaw and her all-girls hit squad join the fray. All this time, Fido, Smithy and their gang are determined to hang on to the video, even when things get nasty, as they do. This is a fast-paced adventure with larger than life characters, but at times the dialogue seems too forced and cheerful.
