The Courageous Cats Compete

Author: Steve WoodIllustrator: Woody Fox

The second book in the series about the five members of the Courageous Cats Club sees our friends involved in a Sports Match where the important talent turns out to be not just winning but one or two other things besides. In the second story, jealousy rears its head when one of the cats gets the chance to star on television. A cheering message for readers is that the cats manage to stay friends through thick and thin; although the stories are fairly predictable, their messages will comfort and hopefully encourage. A certain amount of word play will also amuse children, although adults need to be prepared for this!
