Our Teacher's Gone Bananas

Author: John FosterIllustrator: Lizzie Finlay

I can’t help but think this should have been better edited. At 96 pages it’s a long collection full of too many clumsy, clichéd rhymes and cringy puns. It’s easy to give up on this collection and miss the poems worth sharing, like the series of poems on grammar or some of the nonsense rhymes. Nothing really remained with me after reading this, except the cliché ‘quality not quantity’.
