The Bad Mood!

Author: Moritz PetzIllustrator: Amélie Jackowski

Badger is very cross when he wakes up one morning, and what is the use of being in a bad mood if one cannot inflict it on one’s friends? Which he does. In spades. Having thoroughly alienated all his forest friends, he finds a way to change his mood and then wonders why everyone else is still so cross. On realising his responsibility, he finds the perfect solution. The strong, flat, often eccentric illustrations, full of strange houses in trees and quirky detail are original and appealing in an unusual way. The moral is clear: one must be accountable for one’s actions and learn to say sorry.
