Daddy Elephant is the biggest, strongest and bravest elephant Patrick has ever known. He spends his days trying to make his daddy jump but absolutely nothing scares him, not even Patrick dressed up as a scary shark or springing out of a box when he least expects it. Nothing. But, everyone is afraid of something, and when that ‘something’ turns up unexpected one day, absolute chaos descends on the Elephant household. It turns out that Daddy Elephant is very scared of Mice, and when one cheeky mouse and his motley crew turn up to ‘inspect their cheese’ he is powerless to stop them. Thank goodness Mummy Elephant arrives home just in time to sort those naughty mice out. A very humorous tale with lots of things to spot on each page, it is a super fun book that delivers the gentle message: it’s ok to be scared sometimes.
